I have kept 2 turtles. I think one is male and the other I still not sure. Actually, I have 3 turtles. The female unfortunately has died. The turtles are a species from red ear slider. They live in semi-aquatic habitats with quiet streams and can suit in a types of water. I feed them turtle pettle(dry), lettuce, carrots and other fruits such as grapes, apples and banana.
                                                  This is Blackie. He is 2years old. He got a big appetite.
This is when my Light has turned on. Blackie likes to bask on top of that diftwood. It is his favourite spot. Sorry, the photo abit blur. As you can see, I have put Blackie to the top tank.

This is the smaller turtle. Also 2 years old. However, his limbs got burnt while I am washing the pails. Poor thing. Its name is called Mischief because even though his small size, it likes to bite other turtles.





Below is my customize tank that my father has bought. I quite don't like it. I prefer putting my turtles inside the plastic container and that is much easier to wash the tank. This is quite difficult. One mistake that I have made is that I have bought black sand in the upper tank. Sand is bad for turtles and quite messy to clean too. The sand can get stuck in their digestive system. I hope nothing serious happen.
